Free Virtual Guided Networking Session Open to All at JSM 2021
The ASA’s Committee on Career Development will host the JSM Virtual Guided Networking Session, which provides a friendly environment for students and early-career statisticians to practice meeting and greeting. JSM registration is encouraged, but not required.

StatFest Back for 21st Year in 2021
StatFest 2021 is a free conference over two half days aimed at encouraging BIPOC undergraduates to pursue careers or graduate studies in the statistical and data sciences. This year’s event will take place virtually September 18–19.

The International Conference on Establishment Statistics (ICES VI) is sponsoring a student contest focusing on the analysis/visualization of economic statistical data.

The conference will feature a keynote address by Gabriela de Queiroz, and students are encouraged to submit abstracts.

The 2020 JSM Diversity Mentoring Program, which brings together minority statisticians and data scientists, will be held during the Joint Statistical Meetings, taking place August 1–6 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
