The late Ronald Laporte, emeritus professor of epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh, had a unique and lasting impact on public health. His influence spread internationally with the establishment of an internet-based supercourse.
Freely available to all, the supercourse is a repository of lectures designed to be a resource for teachers, professors, and other educators. Some of LaPorte’s video lectures include How to Write a Scientific Paper and Innovativeness and Creativity in Science.
Laporte was a faculty member for 35 years and trained 35 PhD students. This seminar series is dedicated to his memory.
A list of all seminars and links to recorded seminars will be available at Ron’s supercourse front page.
