The first round of applications for next summer’s MAA Project NExT (New Experiences in Teaching) is October 15. This round is for new(ish) faculty who are in full-time teaching positions. Those accepting teaching positions during this academic year to start the following fall can use the second application deadline of April 15.
Project NExT is a professional development program for new or recent PhDs in the mathematical sciences offered by the Mathematical Association of America. The program focuses on an individual’s academic career as they improve the teaching of mathematics, find interesting service opportunities, and participate in professional activities.
Decisions will be sent out by December 1.
