Career Development Panel: Early Data Science Careers and the Job Search Process

The ASA’s Committee on Career Development (CCD) will host a virtual panel, “Early Data Science Careers and the Job Search Process,” April 30 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This panel is part of the CCD’s 2021 series, “Along Your Career Path in Statistics and Data Science.”

Representatives from industry, academia, and government will talk about possible career paths in statistics and data science, as well as give tips and insights about the job search and application process. Registration is open.

Panelists include Nancy Murray, statistician at the CDC and biostatistics PhD candidate at Emory University; Won Chang, assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati; and Di Michelson, JMP. The panel will be moderated by Ruth Hummel and hosted by Donna LaLonde.
