The Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin and Sandia National Laboratories are hosting Rising Stars in Computational and Data Sciences, an intensive workshop for women graduate students and postdocs who are interested in pursuing academic and research careers. The workshop will be held April 7–8 at the Oden Institute in Austin, Texas.
Nominations for outstanding candidates in their final year of PhD study or within three years of having graduated are being accepted. Approximately 30 women will be selected to go to Austin for two days of research presentations, poster sessions, and interactive discussions about academic and research careers, with travel expenses fully covered.
The nomination form requires a letter of nomination and a copy of the nominee’s résumé.
Nominations are due January 17.
