Statistical Impact Competition: Not Your Typical Data Challenge

The Statistical Impact Competition is not a typical data challenge. It will help identify areas of research, practice, or public policy in which the statistical sciences have made a substantial impact, as well as emerging domains ripe for contributions from statisticians. Additionally, the submissions from this competition will inspire an innovation workshop to be held in early spring 2020.

Using publicly available data sets assembled by themselves, teams will submit responses to the challenge in one or both of two categories: 1) significant contributions and 2) an emerging discipline.

Submissions by individuals or teams with up to five members are due by October 16.
