The National Science Foundation Division of Mathematical Sciences is offering the Mathematical Sciences Graduate Internship Program to provide mathematical sciences doctoral students with internships at federal national laboratories, industry, and other approved facilities. Participation in an internship will provide first-hand experience in the use of mathematics in a nonacademic setting.
The internships are aimed at students who are interested in understanding the application of advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to “real-world” problems, regardless of whether the students plan to pursue an academic or nonacademic career.
Applications for summer 2018 internships will be accepted until February 1.
I am interested in this opportunity but i am a masters grad student. Can i apply?
