The United Nations recently announced the 2011 National Competitive Examinations in Statistics, which is the process through which the UN system recruits young professional statisticians. Qualified candidates, 32 years or younger, are eligible to participate. The deadline for applications is September 10. Maybe that age limit of 32 for the UN National Competitive Examination in Statistics needs to be relaxed, or at least defended.

Statistitians above 32 years will be young at heart but that is not the motive. 🙂
Since I graduated I’ve been searching to see If there is an opening, I’ve always long to work in an environment, with a lot of statisticians. I am a 24 years old Nigerian who is about ending service for my country. I’ll like to work with the UN or get a mail in case there is a future opening.
