Statistics Without Borders (SWB) is a group of volunteer statisticians and data scientists who provide free statistical consulting to organizations, particularly from developing nations, that do not have the resources for statistical services. Membership includes professionals, students, and retirees.
When you join as a member of SWB, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire detailing your area of expertise. When new projects are established, a description of the project is emailed to a list of volunteers asking for help. Sometimes, specific SWB members are contacted if there is a particular area of expertise needed for a given project.
