NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program Accepting Proposals

Undergraduate seniors and beginning graduate students planning to pursue research-based master’s and doctoral degrees are eligible to apply for the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).

The GRFP provides three years of support, which can be used over a five-year period. For each of these three years, the fellow receives a $30,000 stipend and the graduate institution receives a $12,000 educational allowance to cover tuition and additional fees.

The deadline to submit full proposals is November 14. Applicants must be planning to enroll in an accredited institution in the United States by the fall following the announcement of the award. Anyone who has already received a graduate degree is not eligible.
