The ASA Section for Statistical Programmers and Analysts (SSPA) has a student travel award to pay the registration fees for students and recent graduates who want to attend an ASA conference.
A maximum of 10 awards are authorized per year, and no person shall receive more than $500 during a calendar year.
Applications should be received at least six weeks prior to the start of a conference.

The section encourages you to attend the JSM Student Mixer on Monday, August 4, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in room S-Lighthouse 1. It is an easy way to meet other students, and a section officer will be there to answer questions about SSPA and the role of statistical programmers in early-career jobs.
