Students Have Opportunity to Win $500 for Case Study

The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences is hosting a case competition in which students are awarded a prize for the creation, dissemination, and use of new, unpublished cases in operations research and the management sciences. Up to four finalists will be selected to give 30-minute presentations of their entries at a special open session at the INFORMS Annual Meeting.

The deadline for submissions and supporting documentation is July 31.

Prizes include the following:

  • $500 and a framed certificate for the first-place winner
  • $300 and a certificate for the runner-up
