The University of Minnesota’s Summer Institute on Reproducible Research in Brain Imaging Genetics is now accepting applications for its 2026 program, set for July 13–31, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This three-week institute offers hands-on training for junior researchers eager to master reproducible analysis of brain imaging genetics data, with a focus on the ABCD Study. Participants will learn to integrate neuroimaging, genomics, and behavioral data to advance mental health research.
Led by experts from the school of public health’s division of biostatistics and health data science, the program emphasizes transparency, collaboration, and real-world application. Attendees will work in mentored teams, gaining practical experience and building connections that foster long-term research partnerships.
The institute welcomes PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career faculty from fields such as neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, genetics, and data science. Benefits include travel, housing, and partial meals, along with the opportunity to earn graduate-level course credit.
