The Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications (COMAP) offers two competitions, one for a team of high-school students and one for middle-school students. Each contest is designed to provide students with the opportunity to work as team members to improve their modeling, problem-solving, and writing skills. Teams apply mathematics to model, develop, and communicate a solution to a real-world problem.
The registration fee is $100 and the deadline to register is November 3 at 2 p.m.
