A small number of travel awards of up to $2,000 to cover expenses are being offered to international researchers wanting to attend the 2012 International Conference on Methods for Surveying and Enumerating Hard-to-Reach Populations.
The conference will bring together survey methodologists, sociologists, statisticians, demographers, ethnographers, policy analysts, and other professionals from around the world to present new and innovative concepts and techniques for surveying hard-to-reach populations.
To qualify, researchers must be working on topics relevant to the conference and be supported by the employing research institute, organization, national statistics institute, or university. Also, applications must be submitted by September 1, 2012. Recipients are expected to attend H2R sessions, the poster presentations, and the opening reception.
