The World of Applied Statistics: Where Do YOU Fit In?

You are invited to attend the ASA Committee on Applied Statisticians (CAS) social mixer and panel discussion at this year’s Joint Statistical Meeting. Network, mingle, and exchange ideas!

The social mixer will be Tuesday August 2, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., in room CC-B214. Light refreshments provided.

You’re also invited to attend this year’s panel discussion on The World of Applied Statistics: Where Do YOU Fit In?, which takes place Thursday, August 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. in room CC-CC 227/228. The discussion benefits young statisticians who are interested in learning more about the role and responsibilities of applied statisticians from the experiences of other statisticians with background of working in Government, Academia, and industry. Panelists include: Bob Rodriguez, Nat Schenker, Christy Chuang-Stein, Amarjot Kaur, Todd Behrens. Moderator is Jennifer Gauvin.
