The Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies is seeking nominations for the Emerging Leader Award, given to early-career statistical scientists who show potential for leadership and who will help shape and strengthen the field. Nomination packets are due by December 15.
Packets should be compiled as a single PDF and include the following information:
- Nominator’s name, address, email address, and phone number
- Nominee’s name and title, institutional affiliation, address, and email address
- A nominating letter summarizing the basis for the nomination, not to exceed three pages
- The date of the nominee’s terminal degree and any applicable extensions to the 10-year eligibility period
- At least two, but no more than three, letters of support
- A curriculum vitae containing professional positions held
