The NIH-funded Quantitative Team Science (QuanTS) Guided Mentorship Program, developed by the University of Kentucky and Duke University, is a six-month, small-group training program designed to help early-career quantitative scientists strengthen collaborative skills such as communication, team dynamics, project management, and other competencies essential for effective research collaboration. The program runs from January to June 2027.
Participants complete nine self-paced online training modules and meet regularly in a small virtual cohort with peers and program leaders to apply the concepts through discussion, experiential activities, and mentorship.
The program is intended for early-career quantitative scientists (e.g., biostatisticians, informaticians, data scientists) who are actively involved in collaborative biomedical research. There is no cost to participate in the program.
