Registration Open for Mathematical Modeling Contest

The International Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications Scholarship Award will be awarded to the four top Mathematical Contest in Modeling / Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling teams.

The Mathematical Contest in Modeling / Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling is an international contest designed to provide high school students and undergraduates with the opportunity to improve their interpersonal skills through teamwork, develop technical writing and communications skills, and earn a résumé credential. Teams apply mathematics to model, develop, and communicate a solution to a real-world problem.

A prize of $9,000 will be split among team members, with $1,000 going to the school represented. Register by February 2. Awards will be announced on or before May 30.
