Nominations Sought for Peter Hall IMS Early Career Prize

The Institute of Mathematical Statistics seeks nominations for the Peter Hall IMS Early Career Prize, established in honor of Peter Hall’s legacy as a mentor to young colleagues throughout his professional career.

The prize recognizes early-career researchers for outstanding accomplishments and demonstrated promise to the statistics field and includes a plaque, citation, and cash honorarium. It will be presented at the IMS Presidential Awards Ceremony during the IMS Annual Meeting.

Nominations are due December 1. Any IMS member may submit a nomination, but nominees do not need to be IMS members.
