Nominations Wanted for Ryne Scholarship

Nominations are due July 15 for the Elizabeth J. Kelly and Robert D. Ryne Scholarship, established in 2022 to honor their mothers for their unwavering love and steadfast support.

The scholarship, in the amount of $4,000, is given annually to a female student enrolled in or planning to enroll in a mathematics and/or statistics and/or data science program that incorporates statistics. It can be used to pay for any costs related to the recipient’s education.

Selection Criteria
  • Female
  • GPA of at least 3.5, but exceptions can be made at the discretion of the committee
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills that would suggest the student has the potential to bring analytical thinking to problems that involve collaborative efforts where excellent communication skills are critical
