Application for the 2025 cohort of World Science Scholars is open. The World Science Scholars program looks for students who have the following qualities:
- Are in high school, or are a gifted student in middle school, who can complete the program prior to starting university
- Demonstrate exceptional mathematical ability
- Are highly motivated and interested in learning outside the formal school setting
- Can discuss complex mathematical and scientific ideas in English
- Have access to a computer with a good internet connection
- Will commit to an average of two hours per week during the academic year for one year, which includes completing coursework, participating in group projects, and attending live online events
