Statistics in Epidemiology Section Calls for Best Paper Award Applications
The ASA’s Statistics in Epidemiology Section invites applications for the best paper award from young investigators who will present their papers at JSM 2017. The top paper will be awarded the Norman Breslow Prize, which includes a $1,000 stipend.

The ASA Section on Statistics and the Environment is seeking nominations for their Young Investigator Award. This award is meant to encourage and recognize younger members of the environmental statistics community and is given to a member in recognition of outstanding contributions to the development of methods, issues, concepts, applications, and initiatives of environmental statistics.

TSHS Accepting Applications for Young Investigator Award
The ASA Section on the Teaching of Statistics in the Health Sciences is accepting applications for its Young Investigator Award. Presented annually, the award recognizes an outstanding young investigator who is the first author of an abstract submitted to the TSHS Section for JSM 2012.
