The Biometrics Section is seeking applications for the 2017 David P. Byar Young Investigator Award, given to an early-stage investigator for best paper to be presented at JSM. The winner will receive $2,000.

11 Honored with Byar, Travel Awards
The David P. Byar Young Investigator Award is given annually to a new researcher in the Biometrics Section who presents an original manuscript at the Joint Statistical Meetings. Travel award winners will each receive an award to offset the cost of presenting their papers at JSM 2016.
