Submissions are being accepted until December 15 for the John M. Chambers Statistical Software Award, cosponsored by the ASA Statistical Computing and Statistical Graphics sections.
This annual prize for statistical software written by, or in collaboration with, an undergraduate or graduate student carries a cash award of $2,000. Both individuals and teams are eligible to participate, but the individual or at least one individual in the team must have begun the development while a student and either be a student or have completed all requirements for their last degree within the calendar year.
The award will be given to the winning individual or split between up to three winning team members.
