The Data Mining Cup (DMC), sponsored by the German marketing animation company prudsys, has inspired students from around the world to pursue intelligent data analysis since 2000.
The aim of the competition is to excite students from universities worldwide and to challenge them to find the best solution to a data mining problem.
The 10 best teams will be recognized at the prudsys personalization summit, and the top three teams will receive cash prizes.
Team registration begins March 1; the task will be announced April 5. Results must be submitted by the team leader stating the team name by the end of the submission deadline of May 17.
The award ceremony will take place June 26–27 in Berlin, Germany.
