The international conference Big Data Meets Survey Science (BigSurv18), to be held October 25–27 in Barcelona, Spain, will include a student paper competition for current and recent graduate students. The authors of the two winning papers will receive the equivalent of Euro 150 and a travel stipend equivalent to Euro 1,400 if traveling from outside Europe and Euro 800 if traveling from within Europe.
To be eligible, students must be the following:
- Registered as a graduate student at a higher education institution at any level or a 2017 or 2018 graduate
- Listed explicitly as first author of a paper accepted for BigSurv18
Full papers and all accompanying materials must be sent to info@BigSurv18.org by April 30 at 5:00 p.m. EDT. Only one paper per student will be considered.
