The Women in Statistics and Data Science Conference (WSDS) is hosting a hackathon to build community and challenge the participants to contribute their time and talent.
Teams will work to plan, design, and build an application or analyze complex data sets and develop a visualization.
Sponsored by Microsoft, the goal of the hackathon is to ensure a world where all women and girls have equal rights and opportunities.
All team members must be registered for the conference, which will take place October 19–21 in La Jolla, California. Each team must indicate their intent to participate by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 5.
