Career Choices in Statistics is one of the sessions that will take place during the free Fall Outreach Symposium of the U.S. Statistical Agencies November 13-14. This session will provide students with an opportunity to learn the hiring process and job qualifications for various U.S. federal statistical agencies. Participants will explore various career paths, learn how to enhance their job marketability, and develop connections with employers.
There will be a morning and afternoon session with presentations from different agencies, each followed by a panel discussion and question and answer session.
Representatives from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Internal Revenue Service, National Agricultural Statistics Service, and National Center for Health Statistics will make presentations. Visit the Bureau of Labor Statistics website for details.
