y-BIS 2013, the Joint Meeting of Young Business and Industrial Statisticians organized and sponsored by the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS) and International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics (ISBIS), will be held as a satellite meeting of ENBIS-13 at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul, Turkey, from September 19–21, 2013.
The purpose of y-BIS 2013 is to bring together young statisticians and professionals working in academia and industry. The conference, which covers all research areas in business and industrial statistics, will offer opportunities to meet and share scientific and professional experiences.
The conference registration fee is between $182.00 and $260.00 and includes conference materials, coffee breaks, lunches, and all conference social activities. Accommodations close to Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University are available.
Young statisticians (up to five years after their last academic degree) attending this conference will have the opportunity to compete for the Best y-BIS-2013 Paper Award and Best y-BIS-2013 Poster Award.

- Deadline for abstract submission: June 21
- Notification of acceptance of abstracts: June 24
- Deadline for early registration and payment: July 1
- Deadline to apply for the Best y-BIS Paper Award: July 31
