Do you have what it takes to apply data visualization for transportation investment or policy decisions?
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration/Bureau of Transportation Statistics is sponsoring a data visualization challenge.
All students who are citizens of the United States or permanent residents currently enrolled at an accredited public or private university or college, community college, junior college, or vocational school may enter.
Entries are due by October 31.
The two best submissions will be honored at the 2012 Transportation Research Board’s 91st Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, from January 22-26, 2012. Authorized travel expenses will be paid for one member of the winning submission to attend the conference and present their work. In addition, each of the two winning submissions will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
