The ASA Business and Economic Statistics Section is offering up to two travel awards—roughly $350—for students in doctoral programs in business, economics, econometrics, statistics, or allied disciplines. The awards will help students attend the 2011 Joint Statistical Meetings, to be held in Miami Beach, Florida, from July 30 to August 4. Applicants should be either presenting a paper or participating in a poster session.
