25th New England Statistics Symposium

The Department of Statistics of the University of Connecticut is hosting the 25th New England Statistics Symposium on April 16, 2011.

Invited keynote speakers are Brad Carlin of the University of Minnesota and Jun Liu of Harvard University. There will be two full-day short courses on April 15: “Bayesian Adaptive Methods for Clinical Trials,” presented by Carlin, and “Introduction to the Theory and Practice of Copulas,” presented by Ivan Kojadinovic of the Universite de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour and Jun Yan of the University of Connecticut.

Students are encouraged to submit papers and an application for one of three awards no later than April 4.
