ASQ Offers Travel Grants for Students, Early-Career Statisticians

August 1 is the application deadline for the two types of grants offered by the Statistics Division of the American Society for Quality to attend the Fall Technical Conference (FTC) October 6–7 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Student Grants—Up to five grants are being offered to early-career industrial statisticians who wish to attend FTC. The grant does not cover travel expenses, but it does include cost of registration, meals (up to $50), and lodging. Grants are available for currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students of statistics and quality management.

Early-Career Grants—Several grants are being offered for early-career industrial statisticians to attend FTC. The grant includes the cost of registration, meals, and lodging. Grants are available for those who have graduated with an undergraduate or graduate degree in statistics within the last three years who work in quality or statistics positions in industry, government, or academia.
